Black Lab Film Company is based in Toronto, on the ancestral and unceded territory of nations including the Anishinaabe, the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and in South River, on the traditional hunting and fishing grounds of the Hurons, Ojibway and Algonquins, who would visit the area in the summer from their winter territory on Georgian Bay.
